Mopar is the parts, service and customer care organization within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The name is a blend of the words "MOtor" and "PARts". Mopar also designs and builds a small number of customized vehicles.


Unhappy customer Corey Wandless wrote the following review on Mopar:

This is the best place to go if you want your order shipped incorrectly, very little communication, and poor customer service. I ordered 2 simple separate parts and was sent 2 of the same part. I tried calling the number provided on the invoice and NOT ONCE did anyone ever answer the phone. I had to contact them via email and up to now have only received responses to about half of the emails. I was told they would not ship me the correct part until they received the incorrect part ... keep in mind THEY sent the incorrect part and would not resolve the issue until they received the part back, while still billing me for the order. It has been 3 weeks after originally placing the order and I still do NOT have the part which I need to have my vehicle inspected.

"The worst place I've ever worked for. You are over worked underpaid and they dont care about their employees. My wife was admitted to the hospital and they required me to bring a work note. I rarely called out I did above and beyond for them and still got treated poorly."

Warehouse Picker (Former Employee) says

"They want to keep you as a temporary employee forever. The company is always trying to take advantage of you, this is not the environment to work in if you would like to advance in the company. People retire and they tell you that there is not a need to hire anyone, despite being forced to stay overtime every night. Most Saturdays are mandatory. The wage gap is significant between the temporary employees and the union employees despite doing the same tasks. Not one good thing to say about this employer."

Automotive Technician (Former Employee) says

"I felt like I had more to offer somewhere else. Pay was low and my bills were higher. Work environment was hostile and ran poorly by management. I didn’t not enjoy working there Cons: Health care"

Shipping/receiving associate, Mopar (Former Employee) says

"Great money & benefits/morally demoralizing and enjoyed practice of FAVORITISM! Other then that, bringing in two tier employees was a horrible idea. It only caused tension and animosity. If you could get them to leave you alone and stay out of your business, then it was the best job I’ve ever had!"

"Great warehouse position, down fall union environment. The technology within the warehouse was very challenging, The down fall is the personnel and there action in a union environment. Cons: union environment"

"I have been working at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles part-time for more than 5 years Cons: You rely on coworkers to do their jobs in order to get out on your scheduled time. Not everyone likes to work so they make it hard for the good workers. Chrysler often mandates a 9 hour shift because of that reason."

"Ordered a cargo mat for Jeep Cherokee. Ordered wrong size (3/4 size vs full cargo area) ... emailed them 3 times about an exchange and never received reply. Very poor service. Shop elsewhere."

"Ordered the part that was in stock. Mr Moparts never shipped item. Several weeks later was told the item was not in stock and it's backordered. Ask for my money back and got no response. Had to get my money back through PayPal over a month later.I delt with Mike at Mr Moparts."

"Tucson Mopar Parts charged $171.47 and never sent the parts. After email exchanges, they concluded you had to have a PayPal account in order to get a refund. When I asked for the Visa charge to be credited, no response was sent. Someone, possibly Gaston Lerma, then changed the online order to show it was shipped. This was a year+ after the order. The email exchanges don't lie. They owe $171.47 for an order they never shipped. They should get audited."

"Zero communication. Slow shipping. Missed shipping date. Called to check on order status and was on hold for no less than 15 minutes then was told order would arrive next day. Trash service, won't be back!"
